First off I have to say I am a big fan of this series. I absolutely love Ranger and I want Stephanie to end up with him in the end. My favorite part in this book was when Ranger said that they would leave rex and orphan. I hope that means that he will start to pursue Stephanie with more diligence. But enough of my personal feeling about  Ranger and Stephanie and on to the book.

This book to me felt that it lacked substance and that it was kind of filler until the next book. The story line just felt short and lacked the drama that I am used to from this series. Although I will say the laughs were still there. I couldn’t help but crack up over the chicken and the alligator. I am not disappointed in this book like many of the other reviewers were but, I did fill that Evanovich could have taken this book further than she did.  Hey, but in all fairness I did laugh and I did get goose bumps from the intense connection that was still there in this book between Stephanie and  Ranger, so I figure I did not waste my time.  So I say if you are a fan check it out and decide for your self and let me know what you think.
