I am so,so sad that this series is over. I loved the whole journey. I am a huge fan of these books and I can’t sing their praises high enough! Colleen Houck is a master story-teller. The world she builds and settings are just absolutely amazing. The culture, the food, and even the mythology just comes to life in theses books.  I am astounded that these are her first novels.

This final installment rounds up the series nicely and without the huge disappointments that I have encounter in recent series that I have read.  There were a few points that I would have liked to see different but that is just for my own personal selfishness.  The things that I would love to see different don’t affect the story they just would have made me happy.

I will forever treasure these books and the magic it has brought into my life.  I plan to pass these book to my children to read and I am sure they will get as much enjoyment as I have.  This will be a series that will be read and reread in the years to come.  I recommend this series to everyone.  It is just that good and I hope that everyone gets to experience this magical journey.  I know that once you do you will love it as much as I do.
